ETC supported a commercial office retrofit with VRF/VRV equipment selection, installation coordination, and commissioning guidance so the client could improve comfort without disrupting daily operations.

Challenge

The client needed to improve cooling comfort across multiple occupied office floors without shutting down daily operations. Existing zoning was uneven, several areas had different occupancy patterns, and the project needed careful coordination around ceiling access, indoor unit placement, pipe routing, drainage, and future serviceability.

Solution

ETC helped structure the retrofit around a phased VRF/VRV approach. The system recommendation focused on zoning flexibility, practical indoor-unit placement, manageable installation phases, and clear equipment assumptions before procurement. The team also aligned product selection with commissioning and maintenance requirements so the facility team would not inherit a difficult system after handover.
