Hospitality Fit-Out Systems Coordination

Early-stage coordination for cooling, electrical, and fit-out requirements across guest-facing hospitality spaces.

Project Overview

The scope brings together HVAC planning, interior fit-out requirements, product coordination, and stakeholder communication before final procurement decisions.

Challenge

The hospitality project was still in an early decision stage, where design intent, cooling requirements, electrical needs, interior fit-out choices, and budget expectations were all moving at the same time. Without early coordination, the client risked selecting products that might conflict with ceiling design, guest comfort, access, or final procurement timing.

Solution

ETC helped organize the project around a coordinated requirements map. Instead of treating HVAC, fit-out, and equipment decisions separately, the planning linked room usage, ceiling conditions, guest-facing areas, budget-stage options, and approval checkpoints into one practical decision path.

Delivery Approach

  • Mapped guest-facing and back-of-house requirements separately to avoid one-size-fits-all assumptions.
  • Aligned early HVAC ideas with interior ceiling, access, and electrical planning.
  • Separated confirmed requirements from budget-stage assumptions so the client could approve in phases.
  • Prepared a clearer path from concept discussion to product shortlist and procurement.

Scope

  • Requirement mapping
  • HVAC and fit-out coordination
  • Product shortlist support
  • Budget-stage documentation

Deliverables

  • Requirement map
  • Early coordination notes
  • Budget-stage product shortlist
  • Approval path and open-issue register

Outcomes

  • Earlier alignment between design and equipment decisions
  • Reduced risk of late-stage product mismatch
  • Clearer next steps for client approval

Key Considerations

  • Guest comfort, acoustic expectations, and interior finish quality affect equipment choices.
  • Ceiling access and service routes need to be protected during fit-out planning.
  • Budget-stage recommendations should be updated after final drawings and site verification.
